Repetiteuse and Lecturer in Piano and Harpsichord as Compulsory Subjects

Elke-Maria Saller, born in Salzburg, visited as a precollege-student the piano class at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and earned several awards of youth competitions. After graduation from high school she began her studies of classical philology/latin at the University of Salzburg and at the same time concert organ with Oskar Peter and concert harpsichord and instrumental education with Liselotte Brändle at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. She passed both studies with unanimous distinction and received an award for outstanding achievements from the Austrian Ministery for Education, Science and Culture. She took part in masterclasses with Jean-Claude Zehnder, Gordon Murray, Anthony Spiri, Reinhard Goebel, Trevor Pinnock, Sergio Azzolini and Alfredo Bernardini. As a soloist she performed concerts within the International Mozart Week, played at the Summer Festival Salzburg and gave concerts on the organ as well as with different ensembles of chamber music specially in Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Slovenia and Norway. Since 1985 she is teacher under contract for repetition/historical practice, harpsichord and piano. Since 1986 she is also one of the organists at the franciscan church in Salzburg.
