Stan Ford

The American pianist Stan Ford is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He studied piano concerto, chamber music, pedagogy and music education at "Southern Illinois University" with Ruth Slenczynska. He received a two-year Fulbright Scholarship, which enabled him to continue his studies with Hans Leygraf, Alfons Kontarsky and Christoph Lieske at the Mozarteum University. Since 1986 he has been a PUniversity Professor at the Mozarteum University. In addition to his teaching commitments, Stan Ford regularly conducts international master classes and performs as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe, North and South America and in Asia.
