Dora Sammer, recorder student with Dorothee Oberlinger, won the Berlin Prize for Young Artists 2023, a competition curated by VAN Magazine and supported by Bank Julius Baer to promote young artists with outstanding skills and strong artistic visions. With her concept "Imitations to Illusions" Dora Donata Sammer convinced the jury out of 300 applications and will receive her own website, two days as a guest student at the Verbier Festival Academy and career coaching sessions on career development, artistic profile and social media.

Tobias Staub, violin, graduate of Annelie Gahl's class, currently an academician in the Rotterdam Philharmonic, won an academy contract with the Amsterdam Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Christina Scrab, master's student with Thomas Riebl, won a temporary contract with the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig.

Nico Samitz (IGP MA trumpet with Andreas Öttl, currently 2nd trumpet in the Heidelberg Philharmonic Orchestra) won the position of deputy principal trumpet in the Bavarian State Orchestra on 3/1/2023 and will take up the position at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich on 9/1/2023.

Leonhard Mayrhuber, clarinet in pre-college with Andreas Schablas, achieved excellent success in the 4plus category at the Prima la musica state competition, with forwarding to the national competition.

Clarissa Schmitt, clarinet student with Andreas Schablas, received a two-month contract as deputy principal clarinetist at the Komische Oper Berlin.

Bálint Kovács, recorder student with Dorothee Oberlinger, won the first prize at the International Recorder Competition Tel Aviv (Israel) in the category of professional soloists studying at academic institutes. As a prize winner of the competition, he will receive an early baroque Ganassi recorder by Yoav Ran, professional recordings at the Israel Conservatory of Music and scores of newly composed Israeli recorder works. He was also selected as the winner of the Barrocada - The Israeli Baroque Collective orchestra prize. He has been invited to Israel for a concert tour in the 2024/25 season.

Vivi Vassileva, percussion student with Martin Grubinger, received the Leonard Bernstein Award of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival (SHMF) for outstanding young musicians, endowed with 10,000 euros. The prize-winner's concert will take place on 14 July in Lübeck.

Wiktoria Grajewska, clarinet student with Wenzel Fuchs, won the audition for the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and will play in the orchestra in the 2023 season.

Jaeyoon Lee, piano with Pavel Gililov, won 2nd prize at the 7th Svetislav Stančić International Piano Competition in memoriam Dmitry Bashkirov in Zagreb (Croatia).  

August Groz, graduate of the Thomas Bernhard Institute, received the Max Ophüls Prize: Best Young Actor 2023, for his role in "Wer wir einmal sein wollten" by Özgür Anil.

Benno Panhans, guitar in Pre-College with Cecilio Perera, received the Cultural Promotion Award 2022 of the Rosenheim County. The Kulturförderpreis is awarded annually to honor citizens and groups who have made a special contribution to culture in the district.

Leo Mayrhuber, piano in the Pre-College with Andreas Groethuysen, won the selection competition of Musica Juventutis and was invited to perform a part of one of the 3 concerts in the Schubert Hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus in the coming season.

Fabian Johannes Egger, flute in pre-college with Britta Bauer, won the ARTS cultural promotion award of the city of Traunstein.

Anju Nogiwa, piano in pre-college with Andreas Weber, won the 1st prize of group C at the 10th César Franck International Piano Competition in Belgium. She also received the gold medal at the Singapore International Music Competition 2022  in the D category.

Marios Joannou Elia, graduate of Adriana Hölszky's composition class, was awarded the Music Prize of the Academy of Athens in December. This is the highest academic institution in Greece and the highest music award in the country.

The Tempus Trio, master students with Cibrán Sierra Vázquez (Maria Tió, violin with Esther Hoppe, Ferran Bardolet, cello & Ricard Rovirosa, piano) won ex-aequo the 1st prize at the international competition " Città di Padova" and will have the opportunity to play several concerts in Italy next season.
