area research


this tool is a new episode of neighbourhood research. so if you don't have any idea about what this could be i suggest you to try neighbourhood research first.
on this site here you can find out something about the area in which the site you know "lives" in. is it situated in cyber - bel air or in the cyber - bronx?

how to use it:
first write a domainname you know (e.g. www.anydomain.com) in the provided field below and press the change button. soon the assigned ip - adress is shown in the middle of the table below and also the 20 neighbour (10 up & 10 down) adresses.
you can see if the neighboursites are online (there is a [o] before the adress) or not (there is a [x] before the adress).
by clicking on them new windows will open containing the neighboursites.

optional you can write an ip adress in the field. by pressing the change button the ip won't be changed, but nevertheless the neighbours are shown.

else if you want to find out something about your neigborhood then write the shown ip- adress below the table in the empty field and visit your neighbours.

attention! this program needs some time to be executed on the server (in the worst case approx. 2 min.). added to your connection- speed the research can take a while. so please be patient.
