Doris Moser was born in Sterzing in 1987 and after completing her A-levels a in Brixen attended free courses at the Libera Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence. From 2009 she studied art education (painting) and textile design at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. In 2012 she founded the artist group Bockstuhlplatte and worked in the off-space Periscope Salzburg. In 2014 she completed an artist-in-residence program in Budapest. As a member of the South Tyrolean Association of Artists and on the board of the LURX Association for Art and Culture, she has been active in the South Tyrolean art scene since 2017. She has been teaching painting at the Department of Art Education at the Mozarteum Innsbruck since 2018. Today she lives and works in Freienfeld and Innsbruck.
