Brass, Wind and Percussion Studies

The training of wind players and percussionists at the Mozarteum University focuses in particular on the analysis of Mozart¿s works and also on contemporary music. Besides instruction in solo playing, chamber music and orchestral playing, students have the opportunity to gain a wide variety of experience in ensemble playing and become acquainted with unusual repertoire. This has been made possible by creating the Salzburg Bläserphilharmonie of the Mozarteum University, a large-scale ensemble, all of whose players have reached an excellent standard.
